Concrete Blonde - Still In Hollywood (Music Video) (Alternate Version) . This is a music video for "It'll Chew You Up & Spit You Out" by Concrete Blonde. The song was originally released on the flipside of the "Still In Hollywood" 12" single and is in effect an 'alternate version' of the song, with the chorus being the same but having different lyrics for the verses. Anyways, I used the original clip for "Still In Hollywood" to make this one, so just had to edit around the differences. Just how many of us, if we came across a dying motorcyclist in the road, one that was bleeding, would stop and hold his hand and beseech onlookers to help her pray for the man? Not many of us, I am sure, "Nope not something I would do!" Well, Concrete Blonde's lead singer Johnette Napolitano did just that a couple of weeks ago and she has gotten zero recognition for that last bit of kindness this man ever experienced. Her voice, talking or singing is the perfect blend, or synthesis of two wonderful voices, one female and one male. Both voices are incredibly balanced in frequency, tone and volume. An angel did kiss this lady before birth and gift her with this chord like voice.
